Cassie Young
Cassie Lynn Young is an insured, certified and published makeup and tanning artist who specializes in beauty airbrush makeup and custom organic airbrush tanning. Cassie has been a part of 100's of weddings providing makeup for the bride/bridal parties. In addition, she is a former actress, dancer and dance coach who's love for makeup began at a young age. She is a graduate from the University of Louisville with her Bachelors of Science in Education and studied under Jill Glasser at her makeup artistry school in Chicago, IL: Makeup First. Cassie has been a member of the National Tanning Training Institute (NTTI) since 2011 and is a certified tanning artist through their airbrush tanning program.
Cassie is a Pro Artist with over 20 cosmetic and tanning companies including Temptu Pro, Nars, Alcone, Danessa Myricks, Smashbox, Stila, MAC Cosmetics, Make Up For Ever, Urban Decay and Sjolie Tanning. As a pro makeup artist she has freelanced for Smashbox Cosmetics events. She has also taught airbrush makeup seminars to salons and cosmetology schools in the Louisville area as well as funeral homes. Cassie is also a certified airbrush bridal specialist through Temptu Pro. And she is up-to-date on her Infection Control Certification. This course trains and refreshes beauty professionals on the latest infection control procedures and standards of safe work practice. This helps protect the artist and the client on a daily basis.
She has worked with local and national designers and boutiques including Erin Featherston, Gunnar Deatherage, Blush Boutique, General Eccentric, Black Milk Clothing, Kenzie Girl and many more! Cassie frequently works with local and national photographers and businesses to provide beauty services including Andrew Kung Group, Sullivan University, Churchill Downs and Longine. She has provided makeup for national magazines and TV shows such as First for Women and Knock Knock Live! Cassie has also provided makeup for many local magazines including HerScene, Today's Woman, Churchill Downs Magazine and more. She also works with local agencies for model development shoots including Cosmo Model & Talent, Heyman Talent Agency and Helen Wells Talent. She also provides makeup and tanning services for photo shoots, film, TV, weddings, magazines, events, fashion shows, pageants, fitness competitions and more!
Cassie has been featured on many wedding blogs through the years including Green Wedding Shoes and most recently Pretty Pear Bride (2023). She has done makeup for Olympic Gold Medalist Mikaela Shiffrin, TV Host Ross Matthews, Horse Trainer Bob Baffert, Lonnie Ali (wife to the Greatest- Muhammad Ali) and many more celebrity clients. She has done makeup for tons of pageant queens including Katie George (Miss KY USA 2015) and Lizzy Neutz (Miss KY USA 2022). Cassie gives all her clients the "celebrity" treatment.
She has opened her second brick and mortar location in her career in March 2024. Cassie is excited to bring back her custom airbrush tans and be a part of even more special moments in her clients lives! Cassie also has several makeup artists and hair stylists that work with her so she can accommodate both hair and makeup as well as large groups for weddings!
Besides work Cassie is married to her husband, Terrance, and they have two dogs and a cat. She enjoys barre classes, kayaking, crafting, spending time with family and friends and just making the most out of life! Her mom and biggest supporter, Debbie Young, passed away from early on-set Alzheimer's in June 2023. Debbie was Cassie's first assistant and best marketing gal she could have asked for. So many of you got a chance to meet her. She zipped brides into their wedding dresses when they didn't have a mom there and she was. She cried with them for excitement on their big day even though she just met them. Debbie was the most loving woman on the planet and is missed dearly. She was an asset to this business and it's as good as it is because of her.

Cassie’s organic airbrush tan can be seen on model/actress Stephanie Fischer on a Billboard in California, Nevada and other western states for the Dollar Loan Center and also in their national commercial. You can also see the organic tans on several actresses in the film 'Cry for Revenge' including the leading lady. Cassie has tanned models/actors for photo shoots, films, pageants, and fashion shows. She has also tanned wrestlers for their televised matches, body builders for competitions, and cheerleaders/dancers for competitions. Cassie regularly tans clients, family, and friends for weddings, special events and just so they can be tan!
